Scope Action jobs execute automatically when a workstation comes online
Every Goverlan user has run into this. You create a Scope Action and run it on your scope of computers and half of them are powered off or not available. So you're stuck in a constant battle to find these computers, plug them in, and re-run the job manually. Wouldn't it be much more functional if those computers simply "checked in" to a GCS or something and said, "Hey, is there some job or pending task that needs to run on me?" And if that computer was part of a previous Scope Action, then it would automatically run!
This is the main reason organizations look to other, much more expensive products like LANDesk, etc.. If Goverlan had this ability, it would greatly expand the appeal of this product to more large organizations.
